2 close paraphrases of passages into contemporary English @ 10 pts each = 20 points
2 identify/interpret passages @ 5 points each = 10 points
1 brief essay in response to your choice of 1 of 2 prompts @ 15 pts = 15 points

How to study for the final

  1. Go over notes from class
  2. Read over my “class” blog posts (use pull down on main blog page) and associated powerpoints
  3. Reread student blog posts regarding each play, to recall some of the issues we discussed
  4. Review literary terms and concepts page; make sure you not only know definitions, but what they really mean, how you’d apply them
  5. Practice “translating” passages (look at “No Fear” translations to see how you did)
